Chandigarh, June 2: The Chandigarh administration has taken strict action against a well-known club associated with famous singer and rapper Badshah, sealing it for violating regulations.
The building branch and estate office team of the Chandigarh administration conducted the operation at the club located in Sector 26. Officials placed a seal on the club’s main entrance, effectively shutting it down. The administration stated that the club failed to comply with regulations and made unauthorized changes against established guidelines, prompting this action.
Reports indicate that the administration had been receiving complaints about construction irregularities and violations at the club for some time. During the investigation, it was discovered that alterations had been made to the building that did not conform to the approved plans and building bylaws. Officials had previously issued several notices instructing the club to rectify the deficiencies and align the building with approved standards.
Despite repeated warnings and ample time given, the club did not implement the necessary changes as per policy. Consequently, it became imperative to take action under the regulations. The team arrived on-site and sealed the club’s main doors.
Previously, Badshah found himself in controversy over his song “Tattiri,” which faced backlash for explicit lyrics. An FIR was filed against him, and he received a summons from the Haryana Women’s Commission, leading to an apology and the removal of the song from all platforms.
In an Instagram video, Badshah expressed, “I never intended to offend any woman from Haryana. I come from the hip-hop genre, where lyrics are meant for rivals, not for women or children. I am from Haryana, and I have always aimed to elevate our culture and dialect. If anyone was hurt by the song, I sincerely apologize. I hope you will forgive me as your son from Haryana.”
