New Delhi, February 17: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) commenced the Class 10 board examinations on Tuesday. Students displayed a mix of excitement and nervousness throughout the morning. Long queues of candidates were seen at the Central School in Gole Market before the exams began.
There was a palpable sense of eagerness and tension among the students regarding the papers. One student shared, “This is my first board exam, so I am feeling anxious, but I am also happy.” Another student mentioned, “I am well-prepared, yet I still feel a bit nervous.”
Similar sentiments were echoed at other examination centers in the city. Students from various schools arrived at the Sarvodaya Kanya Bal Vidyalaya in Tughlakabad to take their exams. One student stated, “The math paper for the 10th board is on Tuesday. I have prepared well, but I am still feeling anxious.” Conversely, another student confidently remarked, “We have studied properly; everything will be fine.”
At a center in Noida, a student expressed, “I have also solved sample papers. My math skills are a bit weak, but I hope to score around 70 marks.”
Outside the examination centers, a crowd of parents was seen encouraging their children. The administration made special arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams. Strict measures were implemented regarding student entry and adherence to guidelines.
