Jalandhar, March 24 : Border Security Force (BSF) seized a packet of contraband suspected to be heroin from the area of responsibility in Amritsar sector. A spokesperson of the Punjab Frontier Headquarter of the BSF here said on Thursday that during checking at the Border Fence gate, the BSF troops recovered one packet of heroin weighing 2.940 kg concealed in a white sack from a farmer and his labourer who were returning from their fields ahead of Border Security Fence and were intercepted at the Border Fence gate. Value of the heroin seized is said to be more than Rs 14. 50 crore in the international market. XC GNK 1750
