BJPs Pankaj Chaudhary Critiques Congress Rally Ahead of Upcoming March for Democracy

Pankaj Chaudhary of the BJP reviews preparations for a march to defend democracy, criticizing Congresss recent rally as a failure.

Maharajganj, November 2 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ramping up preparations for the “Save Democracy, End Anarchy” march scheduled for November 4 in Gorakhpur. Pankaj Chaudhary, the party’s state president and Union Minister of State for Finance, led a review meeting to discuss the event’s logistics.

During the meeting, Chaudhary engaged with party representatives and senior officials, emphasizing the need for a united front. He accused Congress and its allies of misleading the public through protests. He claimed that Congress’s recent rally in Delhi was a complete failure, dismissing their assertion of gathering 1 million attendees as mere exaggeration.

Chaudhary stated, “The way the INDIA bloc and its allies are misleading the public—whether over NEET exams, the SIR issue, or now against the Chief Election Commissioner—is concerning. While everyone has the right to protest in a democracy, we must question the nature of these movements. Prashant Bhushan’s comments about regime change echo sentiments of a coup.”

He also referenced a participant named Neha Bohra, suggesting her involvement was inspired by events in Bangladesh, questioning whether such chaos was the vision for India.

The BJP leader asserted that the ongoing protests do not genuinely address NEET, the Citizenship Amendment Act, or constitutional matters. He accused Congress and its allies, who have lost ground to the NDA, of attempting to destabilize the country through undemocratic means.

Chaudhary announced that from November 1 to 5, BJP leaders nationwide would march under the banner of “Save Democracy, End Anarchy,” reinforcing their commitment to a strong democratic India. He expressed gratitude to the public for not being swayed by misleading narratives, asserting that the majority stands with Prime Minister Modi.

He concluded by reflecting on the turnout for the Congress rally, estimating that only 35,000 to 40,000 people attended, contrary to the claimed numbers. Chaudhary reiterated his gratitude to the Prime Minister and the citizens for their role in preserving India’s democracy amidst global turmoil.
