Meerut, September 21 (Daily Kiran) : Nitin Naveen, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is set to embark on a two-day visit to Meerut and Saharanpur starting Monday. This trip comes as the party intensifies its organizational efforts in western Uttar Pradesh and reviews its election strategies.
During his visit, Naveen will hold several organizational meetings with party leaders and officials to evaluate preparations at various levels of the organization. On September 22, he is scheduled to address a public rally in Saharanpur.
The BJP is focusing on the 71 assembly seats in western Uttar Pradesh, a region that has historically played a crucial role in the state’s electoral politics. This visit is expected to strengthen the party’s grassroots organization, mobilize at the booth level, and enhance coordination among leaders and workers ahead of the upcoming elections.
On Monday, Naveen will meet with regional officials, Members of Parliament, state legislators, former MPs, and former MLAs in Meerut. He will also assess the party’s organizational readiness at the booth, power center, district, and division levels before spending the night in Meerut.
In Saharanpur, the BJP President will conduct similar organizational meetings to evaluate preparations and coordination across different levels of the party. He will also address a public gathering during his visit.
This two-day trip marks Naveen’s first visit to western Uttar Pradesh since taking on the role of BJP National President. It comes at a time when the party is ramping up its organizational activities in this politically significant region and working to strengthen its grassroots network.
The BJP has consistently focused on western Uttar Pradesh during its electoral campaigns. Saharanpur, in particular, has been a key location for the party’s campaign activities, having launched its efforts from there during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. The party has also commenced its campaigns from this area for the 2017 and 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, as well as the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
