BJP Leaders Criticize Abhijit Dipkes Conditional Bail Amid Festival Disruptions
BJP leaders express outrage over Abhijit Dipkes conditional bail, accusing him of disrupting festivals and causing public distress.

New Delhi, October 18 (Daily Kiran) : BJP leaders reacted strongly following the conditional bail granted to Abhijit Dipke, founder of the “Cockroach Public Party” (CJP). Shahnawaz Hussain and spokesperson Ajay Alok accused Dipke and his organization of creating disturbances during festive occasions.
Speaking to reporters, Hussain stated, “These individuals are causing significant distress to the public during festivals. From Navratri to Diwali and Chhath, people are engaged in shopping, participating in Durga Puja, watching Ram Leela, and enjoying Garba and Dandiya. However, these people, acting at the behest of foreign powers, deliberately aim to disrupt our national celebrations.”
He further emphasized that Dipke’s group lacks public support. “Only a handful of people show up, attract media attention, and then leave after causing chaos. When the government takes action against them, they sign bail bonds and subsequently violate their commitments.”
Hussain also expressed sorrow over the tragic stampede incident at a Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata, which claimed 19 lives and left many injured. He noted, “This is a very sad incident, and the West Bengal government has announced compensation. In this time of grief for the victims’ families, the Prime Minister has also expressed solidarity.”
He assured that the West Bengal government is committed to ensuring such incidents do not recur. “During Durga Puja, thousands of pandals are set up, and such disruptions have never occurred before. This unfortunate event was caused by heavy rainfall, and all possible assistance is being provided to the victims’ families.”
In Patna, BJP spokesperson Ajay Alok also mourned the Kolkata stampede. “This is an extremely tragic event. Devotees were completely immersed in devotion when this accident occurred. What could be more painful? Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families who lost loved ones, and we stand with those who have injured relatives. The Chief Minister has been engaged since last night, and the Home Minister visited the injured today. The entire committee has been suspended, and arrests have been made. However, no loss of life can be compensated. We will develop a strict plan to prevent such incidents in the future.”
Commenting on Dipke’s conditional bail, Alok stated, “He has been granted bail on the condition that he will not engage in any disturbances for a year. If he violates these conditions, he will face punishment. There is no doubt about that. Even though he is out, he is not fit to be outside.”
