Hyderabad, June 15: The BJP’s chief spokesperson in Telangana, N.V. Subhash, launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s government on Monday. He claimed that the current administration has completely failed the people of the state.
Subhash emphasized that every citizen and child in the country has a fundamental right to education, which should never be compromised. He stated that education is the foundation upon which the nation’s future rests, and every child deserves the opportunity to attend school and receive quality education.
He accused Chief Minister Rao of taking steps to close government schools. According to him, shutting down schools under the pretext of administrative actions or other reasons is unjust to the future of children. He argued that such policies weaken the educational system in the state, disproportionately affecting children from poor and rural backgrounds.
Subhash referenced the central government’s initiatives, stating that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, significant strides have been made in the education sector. He cited the example of Navodaya Vidyalayas, which provide better education and opportunities for rural and talented children. He asserted that the central government’s aim is not electoral gain but long-term development and empowerment of future generations.
The BJP spokesperson accused the Congress party and the state government of neglecting the expansion of education. He remarked that the current administration appears more focused on undermining the existing system rather than strengthening it. He noted the lack of a clear plan for opening new schools or enhancing the educational infrastructure.
