BJP Criticizes Rahul Gandhi and India Alliance for Misleading Narrative

BJP leaders accuse Rahul Gandhi and the India Alliance of spreading false narratives and wasting parliamentary time.

Jammu and Kashmir, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a sharp critique against Rahul Gandhi and the India Alliance, asserting that they are engaged in a battle of narratives. Dr. Satish Poonia, a BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, stated that Gandhi and his coalition are using social media as a tool to spread misleading information across the country. He emphasized that the public understands their true character.

Poonia remarked, “Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party, and the India Alliance are merely fighting a narrative war. They are attempting to mislead the nation through social media. However, the people of India are well aware of the character of Congress and its allies.” He highlighted the developmental strides made in the country since the tenure of Atal Bihari Vajpayee to Narendra Modi, suggesting that their agenda primarily revolves around opposing the BJP’s vision.

Rajya Sabha MP Gopi Krishna Pandey described the actions of the opposition as a strategy to remain relevant in media discussions. He drew a parallel, recalling an incident where a Muslim was found soliciting donations while disguised as a sadhu. Pandey suggested that a similar scrutiny of identities within the Congress could reveal their true affiliations.

He further claimed that the so-called “Kakaroch Party” is a product of foreign powers and operates with foreign funding. “The Congress and its allies are riddled with bad elements,” he asserted.

BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana accused Gandhi of wasting parliamentary time over the past few sessions, a situation he claimed has never been seen before in parliamentary history. Khatana stressed the need for Gandhi and the Congress party to reflect on the dignity required of an opposition leader and to move beyond family politics.

He noted that Prime Minister Modi often emphasizes the importance of a robust opposition for democracy, yet Gandhi fails to raise significant public issues in Parliament, suggesting a need for Gandhi to reassess his approach.

Former Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh criticized the opposition’s show of support, stating that their internal conflicts were evident. He accused them of attempting to create false narratives.

Former BJP president in Jammu and Kashmir, Ravinder Raina, asserted that waving the national flag is not a crime, but conspiring against the nation is. He condemned any attempts to propagate foreign agendas within India, labeling such actions as treasonous.

Tensions between the BJP and the opposition continue to escalate as each side seeks to assert its narrative in the lead-up to upcoming elections.
