Internal Strife in India Alliance: Giriraj Singh Critiques Rahul Gandhis Leadership

Union Minister Giriraj Singh criticizes Rahul Gandhis leadership amid opposition discontent within the India alliance.

Patna, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : Union Minister Giriraj Singh has sharply criticized opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, following the recent tragedy in Raghopur. He highlighted the disconnect between representatives attending meetings in Delhi while local issues remain unresolved.

“The incident in Raghopur is tragic, yet it’s unfortunate that local representatives were in a meeting in Delhi,” Singh remarked. He emphasized that such absences during crises are not uncommon.

Singh also addressed the ongoing SIR (Special Investigation Report) controversy, asserting that it is not a new occurrence. He claimed that both Rahul Gandhi and Asaduddin Owaisi are merely using the situation to voice opposition against the Prime Minister.

Furthermore, Singh expressed concerns about Gandhi’s leadership within the India alliance, stating that many leaders are reluctant to accept him as a viable leader. “One prominent leader mentioned to me that Rahul Gandhi lacks vision and is not fit to lead,” Singh said. “They fear he could destabilize the country.”

Discussing the upcoming 2029 elections, Singh pointed out the Congress party’s recent losses in by-elections across multiple states. He noted that despite significant electoral challenges, there seems to be little concern from Gandhi’s camp about their dwindling influence.

Singh remarked on the growing discontent among alliance members, suggesting that Gandhi is perceived as increasingly authoritarian. “A senior leader from the India alliance told me privately that under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, victory seems unattainable,” he added.

The internal dynamics of the alliance appear to be shifting, with Singh asserting that the rivalry between siblings over leadership roles continues to be a significant issue.

As the political landscape evolves, the future of the India alliance and its leadership remains uncertain.
