BJP Criticizes Congress Over Controversial Post About Chief Justice
The BJP has condemned Congress for a controversial post about the Chief Justice, claiming it reflects the partys true intentions.

New Delhi, October 13 (Daily Kiran) : The ongoing tension between the Congress party and the ruling BJP escalated recently following a controversial post regarding India’s Chief Justice (CJI) on the social media platform X. Despite Congress’s swift action to dismiss the individual responsible for the post, the BJP continues to criticize the party, asserting that this incident reveals Congress’s true intentions and mindset.
Rajiv Chandrasekhar, the President of the Kerala BJP, strongly responded to the controversy, suggesting it highlights Congress and Rahul Gandhi‘s strategy to undermine and insult the country’s democratic institutions. The uproar began when the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) posted an objectionable message demanding the resignation of CJI D.Y. Chandrachud over his remarks on law and order.
In response to the backlash, the KPCC removed the post and terminated the individual responsible, clarifying that it was shared without the leadership’s consent or knowledge. However, Chandrasekhar maintained that removing the post does not change the underlying sentiments or the way Congress operates. He accused Gandhi of consistently disrespecting India’s institutions, including the judiciary, election commission, government, media, and young entrepreneurs.
BJP National Secretary Rohan Gupta also weighed in, accusing Congress of spreading chaos and claiming their dangerous intentions are becoming increasingly clear. He questioned how anyone could make such remarks about the CJI or any constitutional authority, suggesting that Congress resorts to chaos whenever its views are challenged.
Gupta demanded an apology from Congress, asserting that the post revealed the party’s true nature. He expressed concern over the implications of demanding resignations from constitutional figures who disagree with Congress. C.R. Kesavan, a BJP spokesperson, criticized the party’s “uncivil culture,” stating that the post reflects the rude and disrespectful environment promoted by Rahul Gandhi.
The controversy continues to unfold, with both parties entrenched in their positions as the political climate intensifies.
