Hamirpur (HP), March 24 : Former Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, Prem Kumar Dhumal has lambasted those who were opposing the screening of “The Kashmir files”. He said that such people were anti-India and were opposing it only to adopt a policy of appeasement towards a particular ideology. Dhumal, after watching the movie on Wednesday, stated,” We have full faith that Kashmiri Pandits will return to Kashmir and they will also get justice for their atrocities”. “This film is only a part of that eventuality which Kashmiri Pandits have suffered in the valley,” he claimed. He told the media that fortunately, such a government was running in the country which was patriotic and determined to maintain the integrity and ty of the country. The return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits were not possible just by building a house in Kashmir, he asserted “There should be a responsibility for the security of Kashmiri Pandits and the environment there should be such that Kashmiri Pandits do not have to face such atrocities again and this will be possible only when a sense of patriotism is created there. And fortunately, such a government is running in the country which is moving towards achieving this goal and has been successful to a great extent,”the BJP leader pronounced. The former Chief Minister asserted that the truth of Article 370 has been exposed in this film and how Kashmiri Pandits were subjected to atrocities in the valley by misusing Article 370. They were exterminated and either forced to leave Kashmir or was tortured to death. He added that the Bharatiya Janata Party had been raising the demand to abolish Article 370 in Kashmir for decades but the dream was fulfilled in the year 2019. CSS JNA
