BJP Celebrates PM Modis 25 Years of Public Service with Nationwide Campaigns

New Delhi, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a month-long campaign dubbed ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service, from his tenure as Chief Minister to his current role as Prime Minister. This initiative aims to organize programs related to health, sanitation, education, and welfare for the underprivileged.

In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Minister Swatantra Dev Singh emphasized that every decision made by Modi, both as Chief Minister and Prime Minister, has prioritized national interest and the welfare of the poor. He pointed out that during the Congress era, the nation’s condition deteriorated, whereas, under Modi’s leadership since 2014, India’s global standing has significantly improved. Singh highlighted various government initiatives, such as free rations, housing schemes, gas connections, and the Ayushman Bharat program, designed to reach the most marginalized sections of society and promote self-reliance.

Singh noted that the BJP has decided to run 25 different public service campaigns for a month, in honor of Modi’s birthday. These campaigns will focus on health, sanitation, education, and poverty alleviation. Party workers are encouraged to engage with villagers and impoverished communities, providing them with information about government schemes and assisting them in becoming self-sufficient. He also mentioned the expansion of essential services like electricity and roads as part of this transformative effort.

Additionally, Singh praised Modi’s dedication to serving the nation and the poor. He referenced the Prime Minister’s efforts to safely repatriate Indian citizens during crises abroad. Addressing issues like terrorism and Naxalism, Singh stated that the central government‘s initiatives have effectively controlled these threats, while also focusing on the welfare of farmers, scientists, youth, and the impoverished.

In Delhi, Kerala BJP President Rajeev Chandrasekhar remarked that while there have been governments before and after Modi, his leadership has strengthened the culture of service in politics. He noted a positive shift in public sentiment regarding the future, contrasting the concerns of 2012-13 with the current optimism among youth and children about building a developed India. He described the campaign marking Modi’s public service as an opportunity to celebrate this transformation.

Central Defense Minister of State Sanjay Seth, speaking from Ranchi, highlighted Modi’s global popularity and the numerous honors he has received from abroad. He stated that Modi has consistently garnered international acclaim, being awarded the highest honors by 36 countries. As Modi’s 25 years in public service culminate on October 7, Seth praised his work ethic and unwavering commitment to serving the nation.
