BJP alleges Punjab govt for filing fabricated cases against its leaders

New Delhi, April 10 : Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday alleged that Punjab government was deliberately filing fabricated cases against its leaders. BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh alleged that the manner in which a case was registered against BJP media head Naveen Kumar Jindal for allegedly tampering with a video clip of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, smacked of conspiracy. Chugh said the purported clip was posted on April 6 with a disclaimer, in spite of the fact that a case was registered against the BJP leader in this regard. He said the Punjab Police has so far registered three such cases against BJP leaders. Similarly, the cyber cell of Punjab police recently booked BJP youth activist Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, who had reportedly led the agitation against Arvind Kejriwal in the context of his comments on the film The Kashmir Files, added the statement.
