Patna, May 6: Bihar’s capital, Patna, is set to host the cabinet expansion ceremony of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary at Gandhi Maidan on Thursday. Prior to the event, CM Chaudhary inspected the venue for the upcoming ceremony.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, CM Chaudhary announced that he reviewed the preparations for the cabinet expansion program on Wednesday. The event will take place at the historic Gandhi Maidan in the esteemed presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He further stated that the preparations were assessed, and necessary instructions were given to the relevant officials to ensure a smooth organization of the event.
In another post, the Chief Minister expressed a warm welcome to Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Bihar’s historic and sacred land. He praised Singh’s strong leadership, unwavering resolve, and dedication to national defense, which has provided the country with new strength and pride. Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi commented on the oath-taking ceremony, stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President Nitin Nabin will witness the cabinet expansion in Bihar. Several leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Health Minister JP Nadda, are expected to attend. NDA leaders, including Nitish Kumar and Jitan Ram Manjhi, will also be present, along with all NDA MPs from Bihar and central ministers from the state.
