Ayodhya, March 3: Special preparations have been made in Uttar Pradesh for the safety and health of people during Holi. Ayodhya will have 24-hour medical services, emergency teams, and ambulances available on Wednesday. Authorities are also urging the public to use natural and safe colors for the festival.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Devendra Kumar announced that medical services will be operational throughout the Holi festival in Ayodhya. Community health centers in rural areas, district hospitals in urban areas, women’s hospitals, medical colleges, and Shri Ram Hospital will remain open continuously. Doctors and staff will be available for any emergency or medical assistance required.
Dr. Kumar stated that 29 ambulances are fully operational under the 108 service, along with 30 ambulances under the 102 service. All ambulances will be on standby 24/7 to transport patients to hospitals when needed. Additionally, all staff on regular duty will be fully deployed. Fifteen medical teams and other personnel will be active in both urban and rural areas to assist the public. All essential medicines will also be available in hospitals.
The CMO made a special appeal to the public to avoid using chemical colors during Holi. He emphasized that many colors available in the market can be harmful to the eyes, skin, and respiratory health. This year, it is encouraged to use natural colors made from flowers and lighter shades for a safer celebration. This approach will not only protect health but also allow for a joyful and safe Holi.
He further stated that these arrangements have been made for the safety and convenience of the people. If anyone requires emergency or medical assistance, they should immediately contact the nearest hospital or ambulance. The duty teams will ensure that no patient, injury, or health issue goes without help.
In conclusion, the CMO extended Holi greetings to all citizens of Ayodhya, urging everyone to celebrate this festival with health and safety in mind. By using natural colors and flowers, everyone can enjoy a safe and happy festival.
