Audi India Announces Up to 2% Price Hike on Vehicles Effective April 1

New Delhi, March 12: Audi India has announced a price increase of up to 2% on its vehicles, effective from April 1. This adjustment will apply to all models sold in the country.

The German luxury car manufacturer stated that the decision was made due to rising input costs and fluctuations in currency rates, which have increased the overall expenses for the automaker.

Balbir Singh Dhillon, Brand Director of Audi India, emphasized the company’s commitment to minimizing the impact of this price increase on customers. He stated, “Due to recent increases in input costs and currency fluctuations, we are implementing a price hike of up to 2% starting April 1, 2026. We are dedicated to reducing the impact of this price increase on our customers.”

This price adjustment will affect the ex-showroom prices of all Audi models available in India.

Currently, Audi India sells a range of luxury sedans and SUVs, including the Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi Q3, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, and Audi Q8.

Audi India is the first automotive company in the country to announce a price increase effective April 1, 2026. Following this announcement, it is anticipated that several other luxury car manufacturers may also consider raising their prices.

Previously, Audi India reported sales of 2,128 units during the January-June period of the previous year. According to the company, the ‘Audi Approved: Plus’ pre-owned car business showed steady performance, recording a 10% increase during the same period.

The brand currently operates 26 pre-owned car showrooms and plans to add more locations this year.
