Ankash Dhul Achieves Third Rank in UPSC Exam, Family Celebrates Historic Success

New Delhi, March 6: Ankash Dhul from Panchkula, Haryana, has secured the third position in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025. His remarkable achievement has brought immense joy to his family. Chief Minister Nayab Saini personally congratulated Ankash’s father over the phone.

In an interview, Ankash’s father, Krishna Dhul, a BJP leader, expressed his pride, stating, “As a father, I am immensely proud that my son has made history. Many have contributed to Ankash’s success. I am grateful to the Chief Minister for personally calling to congratulate me and showing love for the people of Haryana.”

Ankash’s mother, Nirmala, emphasized the importance of hard work and perseverance. “If a child works diligently and consistently, success will surely follow. Any student who puts in the effort can prepare for UPSC and achieve their goals,” she said. Last year, Ankash did not secure an IAS or IPS rank due to his service preference being IWS. This year, he focused on his weaknesses, developed a strategy, and improved to achieve the third rank.

Additionally, Roopal Jaiswal from Khandwa secured the 43rd rank. She stated, “My hard work has finally paid off. I prepared my notes well, practiced extensively, and consistently revised. Consistency was key. I studied for at least 7-8 hours daily. It took me three and a half years to reach this point, and I received tremendous support from my family.”

Srishti Goyal from Gwalior achieved the 160th rank. “I feel very happy and relieved that my efforts have resulted in success. I am excited about the roles and responsibilities ahead,” she shared.

Vaibhavi Agarwal from Raipur secured the 35th rank, expressing her gratitude for her father’s blessings, family support, mentors’ guidance, and divine grace. “This was my third attempt. I started preparing in 2021. After two failures, I felt disheartened, but my family supported me immensely.”

Yashwant Sangwan from Charkhi Dadri achieved the 391st rank after eight years of preparation. He noted, “My family provided significant support. During exam stress, I would talk to them. I owe my success to everyone.” He completed his primary education in Charkhi Dadri and continued his studies in Faridabad, stating, “After eight years of hard work, achieving success feels incredible. I want to work for society.”
