Amit Shah to Chair 26th Meeting of Central Regional Council in Bastar on May 19

Raipur, May 16: The 26th meeting of the Central Regional Council will take place in Bastar, Chhattisgarh, on May 19. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will preside over the meeting, which will see the participation of Chief Ministers from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Chhattisgarh.

To prepare for the meeting, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai held a high-level review meeting at the Mahanadi Bhawan on Friday. During this session, officials presented various topics that will be discussed at the council meeting. The Chief Minister thoroughly reviewed all points and provided essential directives.

Chief Minister Sai assigned different responsibilities to senior administrative officials, emphasizing that there should be no shortcomings in the event’s preparations. He instructed that all arrangements should be made with better coordination and seriousness.

He highlighted the crucial role of the Central Regional Council states in building a developed India. This council is unique, as there are no disputes among member states, serving as an excellent example of mutual cooperation and coordination.

According to him, regional councils have become an effective platform to strengthen dialogue, cooperation, and coordination between states and the central government. Strong states contribute to a strong nation, and with this mindset, regional councils are providing new directions for development, administrative coordination, and national unity.

The Chief Minister noted that in recent years, these councils have played a significant role in promoting cooperation and a development-oriented mindset among states.

He expressed pride in hosting this important meeting in Bastar. The organization of such a national meeting in the region, following the establishment of peace, indicates the state government’s full commitment to the area’s development and new opportunities.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, efforts to eradicate Naxalism have established peace in the region, allowing Bastar to move forward on a new path of development. He expressed confidence that Bastar will write a new chapter of development from the land of Indravati, and this meeting of the Central Regional Council will accelerate the region’s growth.
