New Delhi, October 7 (Daily Kiran) : Central Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, marking the completion of 25 years of dedicated service. In his message, Shah highlighted Modi’s significant achievements, stating that he has redefined governance with welfare-oriented policies, steadfast decision-making, transparency, and guaranteed results, establishing a model of ‘Politics of Performance.’
In a post on social media platform X, Shah wrote, “Heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 25 years of service and dedication, characterized by tireless effort and an unwavering commitment to putting the nation first.”
He noted that on October 7, 2001, Modi took the oath as the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Since then, his journey as both Chief Minister and Prime Minister has transformed into a mission focused on the welfare of the poor, empowerment of women, upliftment of youth, and prosperity for all. During these 25 years, Modi has fundamentally changed the definition of governance.
Shah further elaborated on Modi’s accomplishments, recalling how he led the reconstruction of Kutch after the devastating earthquake, implemented the Jyotigram scheme to provide 24-hour electricity to villages, and fostered a new direction for investment and industry through initiatives like Vibrant Gujarat. Under Modi’s leadership, Gujarat achieved over 8% agricultural growth, setting a governance model that became a foundation for the entire country.
As Prime Minister, Modi’s vision expanded, leading to remarkable achievements ranging from advancements in space to maritime security and internal safety. Shah emphasized the significant changes in the lives of ordinary citizens, noting that 250 million people have risen above poverty, and millions of families have gained access to permanent housing, health coverage of up to 500,000 rupees, and clean drinking water through household taps.
He also pointed out that under Modi’s leadership, India has emerged as a rapidly growing economy, reaching new heights in manufacturing, digital payments, startups, semiconductor production, defense manufacturing, and renewable energy.
In these times of conflict and instability, Shah remarked that India has become a crucial global voice for peace and harmony. He praised Modi for instilling confidence in millions of citizens and promoting the vision of a ‘Developed India‘ by 2047. He expressed pride in being part of Modi’s service initiatives, calling it a privilege and honor for all.
