Chennai, September 21 (Daily Kiran) : Director Atlee and actor Allu Arjun’s eagerly awaited film ‘Raka’ has secured a spot in the Guinness World Records. The film achieved the record for the “Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time,” marking a significant milestone in Indian cinema.
On Monday, the production company, Sun Pictures, announced the accomplishment via social media, revealing that a total of 37 actors participated in the real-time motion capture for the film, setting the new world record.
Sun Pictures stated, “A historic achievement that brings Indian cinema to a global stage. ‘Raka’ has set the Guinness World Record for the ‘Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time.’”
The company also shared that Allu Arjun and director Atlee received the official Guinness World Record certificate for this achievement.
This announcement coincided with Atlee’s birthday. Allu Arjun congratulated him on social media, posting a picture along with a heartfelt message: “Happy Birthday, Atlee Garu. It is a great honor to work with a director of your vision and talent. I look forward to creating more magic with you.”
Recently, on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s 44th birthday, the makers unveiled the film’s first look. The poster features Allu Arjun in a bold, warrior-like appearance, partially obscured by wolf-like claws, showcasing his intense persona.
Sun Pictures previously revealed that ‘Raka’ involves several world-class technical experts from Hollywood. This includes James Madigan, the VFX supervisor for ‘Iron Man 2’ and ‘Transformers: Rise of the Beasts,’ Mike Elizalde, president of Spectral Motion, Oscar-winner Justin Raleigh, and William Wright Anderson, co-owner of Lola VFX.
The makers assert that ‘Raka’ will be a grand-scale film appealing to audiences worldwide.
