Jhansi, February 21: Akhilesh Yadav, the National President of the Samajwadi Party, has accused the government of jeopardizing security arrangements. He claims that the security of opposition leaders has been reduced due to political bias.

Yadav stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has disrespected saints and warned that the public will oust them from power in 2027. He pointed out that his National Security Guard (NSG) protection was removed without any clear explanation. He urged the government to disclose the report that led to this decision.

He also referenced the removal of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi‘s Special Protection Group (SPG) security, labeling it as an act of political vengeance. Yadav emphasized that former chief ministers should receive security as per protocol, criticizing the government for merely presenting formal statistics.

In discussing the recent Magh Mela in Prayagraj, he accused the government of insulting the saint community, particularly by demanding certificates from Shankaracharyas. He insisted that if any mistakes were made, the Chief Minister should publicly apologize.

Yadav further asserted that the government’s bulldozer actions are disregarding the law and the Constitution. He confidently predicted that the BJP would be completely removed from power in the upcoming 2027 assembly elections.
