Unveiling the Character of Darshana in Arjun Dass Film John Doe
The character of Darshana is revealed in the upcoming psychological thriller John Doe, starring Arjun Das and directed by Madhumita.
Mumbai, October 25 (Daily Kiran) : Anticipation is building for the upcoming psychological thriller “John Doe,” directed by Madhumita and featuring Arjun Das in the lead role. Recently, the filmmakers unveiled details about the character Darshana, played by actress Srishti. The production house, Arka Media Works, shared insights about Darshana’s character on social media.
The post described Darshana as a strong individual who has faced significant loss in her life but remains resilient for her family. However, in moments of silence at home, she grapples with self-doubt, questioning whether she is enough for herself. The audience is invited to meet Darshana from the world of “John Doe.”
Arjun Das will portray a character named Chandru. He previously shared a first-look poster of the film, accompanied by the thought-provoking question, “Nan poduma?” (Am I enough?). This question haunts Chandru, and Arjun believes it’s something we all have pondered at some point. During the process of exploring Chandru’s character, he discovered reflections of this persona within himself.
The film also stars Sanjana Natarajan in a female lead role, with Zara Vinit Chandoke and Neerav playing significant parts. One of the film’s highlights is that Arjun Das will be seen in the role of a police officer for the first time in his career, adding to the audience’s excitement.
“John Doe” is produced by Arka Media Works, known for the blockbuster “Baahubali.” The film is co-produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni, with Kishore Kedari and Madhumita as co-producers. Soumya Sharma takes on the role of creative producer, while the music is composed by renowned music director Mujib Majid.
The action sequences have been choreographed by Dinesh Subbarayan and Action Santosh. Costume design is handled by Priya Karan and Priya Hari, with Ashwini Kale responsible for production design.
Reports indicate that the production of “John Doe” is nearing completion, with plans for a release in November this year.
