Mumbai, March 24: Music is not just a source of entertainment; it is also a means of expressing emotions. While the style of music may have evolved over time, the emotions embedded within it remain unchanged. Continuing this thought, Kutle Khan, Aditya Rikhari, and Raavtar have released their new song ‘Ae Ajnabi,’ which is currently resonating well with audiences.
This song is part of the new season of ‘Coke Studio India,’ where various artists come together to present something unique and special. ‘Ae Ajnabi’ is a significant experiment that merges the emotions of the past with contemporary expressions. The song features the sweetness of folk music alongside a touch of modern pop, making it even more special.
Kutle Khan shared his insights about the song, stating, “Folk music has always encapsulated people’s emotions. It has consistently conveyed the matters of the heart. While creating ‘Ae Ajnabi,’ my aim was not to replicate old music but to present it in a new style. I believe that true music is that which evolves over time while staying connected to its roots.”
The song reveals a simple truth: although the ways of expressing love may have changed, the underlying feelings remain the same. In the past, people expressed their emotions through letters and glances, while today, these sentiments are often conveyed through messages and unfinished conversations. ‘Ae Ajnabi’ beautifully bridges the gap between these two eras.
Aditya Rikhari also shared his thoughts on the song. He said, “This song showcases emotions that almost everyone has felt at some point. Wanting someone, remembering them, and sometimes struggling to articulate one’s feelings are all part of this song. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it does not try to explain emotions excessively but allows them to flow naturally.”
