Hamilton, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : The fifth and final T20 match between India and New Zealand took place at Sedon Park in Hamilton on November 1, 2026. Batting first, India scored 191 runs, losing eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. New Zealand’s Adam Milne delivered a remarkable performance, claiming four wickets while conceding just 19 runs in his four overs. This achievement makes him the second-best bowler for New Zealand against India in T20 cricket history.

Milne dismissed Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar during his spell. The record for the best bowling figures against India in T20s still belongs to Mitchell Santner, who took four wickets for just 11 runs in 2016.

The fast bowlers provided a strong start, with Milne striking in just the second over, sending Abhishek Sharma back for a mere one run. In the fourth over, he dismissed Sanju Samson, who managed only four runs. Despite this, Ishan Kishan and Indian captain Shreyas Iyer stabilized the innings with a brilliant third-wicket partnership, scoring 93 runs off 43 balls.
