14 Million Iranians Ready to Sacrifice for Their Country, Claims President Pajeshkian

Tehran, April 7: In a bold statement just hours before U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats to devastate Iran, President Pajeshkian announced that the Iranian populace is prepared to sacrifice their lives for the nation’s defense.

In a post on the X platform, he declared, “So far, over 14 million brave Iranians have pledged to give their lives for the defense of Iran. I have also sacrificed my life for Iran, I am doing so, and I will continue to do so.”

It is noteworthy that Iran’s population stands at approximately 90 million.

Prior to Pajeshkian’s remarks, Ali Reza Rahimi, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Youth and Adolescents (Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports), advised enlightened Iranians and youth to form a human chain outside energy plants.

Rahimi also stated in a social media post, “We will all join hands to declare that attacking public infrastructure is a war crime.”

Meanwhile, Israel continues its attacks on Iran. The IDF issued a warning on Tuesday, advising people not to travel by train. They stated that individuals should avoid using trains and stay away from railway tracks for the next 12 hours. According to ‘The Times of Israel’, the military believes that railways are being used for terrorist activities.

The IDF released a statement on X, saying, “Dear citizens, for your safety, we urge you not to travel by train across the country from now until 9 PM (Iran time). Being near trains and railway lines may put you in danger.”

Trump has given Iran until 8 PM (U.S. time) on Tuesday to open the Strait of Hormuz, but Israel’s warning will expire about 6.5 hours earlier.
