Youth Conference Kicks Off in New Delhi with Over 6,000 Participants

New Delhi, June 6: The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is hosting the “My India Youth Conference” at the Tyagaraj Stadium in New Delhi today. This event, themed “Youth for a Developed India,” is expected to attract thousands of young participants from across the country.

The conference aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of empowering the youth to play a pivotal role in achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047, as stated by the Ministry.

More than 6,000 youths from various backgrounds are anticipated to attend. Participants will include students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, content creators, emerging leaders, and successful individuals, showcasing the diversity and aspirations of India’s youth.

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Mansukh Mandaviya, along with Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and several other leaders, distinguished guests, and young luminaries from various sectors, will be present at the conference.

The aim of the event is to create a platform where today’s successful individuals can engage with tomorrow’s builders of India, fostering a shared commitment to public leadership, national development, and social change.

According to the Ministry, the conference will feature discussions with prominent figures from various fields. Among the speakers are Gurinderveer Singh, the current national record holder in the 100 meters, Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey, entrepreneur Aman Gupta, and Olympic medalist Aman Sahrawat. Additionally, successful UPSC candidates and leading content creators like Malhar Kalambe and RJ Raunak, along with other influential young personalities, will engage with the youth.

The event will also honor emerging talents from across the country who have achieved remarkable success in areas such as sports, entrepreneurship, governance, and content creation. Organizers believe this recognition will further motivate young Indians to contribute actively to society and nation-building.

The Ministry also noted that the conference will celebrate a recent achievement of My India, which received recognition from Guinness World Records for having the highest number of users participating in an online quiz in one week. This record was achieved through the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) quiz initiative.

Over 500,000 youths from all 28 states and eight Union Territories participated in this nationwide event. During the official evaluation period, 390,812 participants successfully completed the quiz, resulting in a new world record.

According to the Ministry, this achievement highlights the unprecedented engagement of youth in the vision of “Developed India 2047” and reflects the growing confidence of young citizens in contributing meaningfully to the nation’s development journey.

A government statement said, “As we move towards the dream of a developed India by 2047, the My India Youth Conference will celebrate the aspirations, achievements, and transformative potential of the country’s youth.”

The statement further emphasized that by bringing together thousands of youths from every corner of the nation, the conference will reaffirm the collective resolve to contribute to nation-building and underscore the crucial role of youth in realizing the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed, inclusive, and self-reliant India.
