yogi orders strict covid vigil in bordering districts

Lucknow : After feared criminal Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad, sought in the Umesh Pal murder case, was killed down by Uttar Pradesh police in an encounter in Jhansi today, chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s one-month-old comment is trending on social media once more.

On February 25, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was addressing the budget session of the Uttar Pradesh legislature, and during a spat with Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav over the murder of Umesh Pal in broad daylight, he declared that the mafia will be entirely eradicated from the state.

Isn’t it true that Atiq Ahmed, who has been charged by the victim’s family, is a member of the mafia fostered by the Samajwadi Party, and we’ve only worked to break its back? Yogi Adityanath stated, pointing a finger at Yadav.

“He is the godfather of all professional criminals and mafias, sir. They are infused with criminality. And I’m telling you now, I’m going to run this mafia to the ground (Mafia ko mitti mein mila dunga), the Chief Minister declared, shaking his finger at Yadav once again.
