Ayodhya, September 8 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to honor Anganwadi workers and helpers during a state-level ceremony in Ayodhya on Tuesday. The event aims to recognize the efforts of approximately 12,000 to 15,000 Anganwadi workers and helpers from the Ayodhya division.
Officials anticipate participation from around 2,000 workers from each of the districts of Ambedkar Nagar, Amethi, Barabanki, Sultanpur, Basti, and Gonda. The ceremony will take place at the Government Inter College grounds and will be broadcast across Uttar Pradesh, allowing residents from various districts to witness the event.
Following the ceremony, the Chief Minister will visit Hanumangarhi and the birthplace of Lord Ram for prayers. District Magistrate Shashank Tripathi confirmed that departmental ministers and local representatives will also attend. Women associated with self-help groups (SHGs) and those involved in ration distribution activities are expected to participate as well.
Tripathi noted that similar events will be held simultaneously in each district, with the main ceremony occurring in Ayodhya in the presence of the Chief Minister. Extensive arrangements have been made to ensure the success of the event, with officials working diligently to finalize preparations ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit.
On social media platform X, Adityanath stated that the program will recognize the contributions of Anganwadi workers, helpers, meritorious children, and outstanding supervisors. New Anganwadi workers and helpers will also receive appointment letters during the ceremony.
He expressed, “In the beloved city of Lord Ram, we will honor Anganwadi workers, helpers, meritorious children, and outstanding supervisors, and distribute appointment letters to newly appointed Anganwadi workers and helpers.”
Additionally, the Chief Minister mentioned another significant event, the two-day ‘UP Textile Conclave-2026’, starting Tuesday in Lucknow. This initiative aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a global hub for the textile industry, with important initiatives set to be launched.
Adityanath further added, “The UP Text Mitra portal, along with plans to promote the welfare of weavers, skill development, investment, and entrepreneurship, will connect the state’s rich textile heritage with modern capabilities.”
