Yashasvi Jaiswal Excluded from Mumbai Squad for Ranji Trophy Match Against Himachal Pradesh
Yashasvi Jaiswal will miss the upcoming Ranji Trophy match as he joins India A for a series in New Zealand.

Mumbai, October 16 (Daily Kiran) : Mumbai has announced its squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy match against Himachal Pradesh, scheduled to take place in Bilaspur from October 18 to 21. Notably absent from the team is left-handed opener Yashasvi Jaiswal.
The Mumbai Cricket Association confirmed that Jaiswal will not participate in this match as he is set to travel to New Zealand. He will play for India A in a series against New Zealand A, which kicks off on October 24 with three Test matches. This commitment means Jaiswal will miss the second match of the Ranji Trophy season.
In addition to the India A matches, the senior Indian team is also scheduled to play two Test matches in New Zealand, where Jaiswal’s experience with the A team is expected to benefit him in the senior squad’s games.
Stepping in for Jaiswal is young batsman Angkrish Raghuwanshi, who has been included in the Mumbai lineup. Suryaansh Shedge has also been added to the team. Ayush Mhatre, the vice-captain from the previous match, will not be part of the squad due to injury.
In the first match of the current Ranji season, Jaiswal played against Chandigarh at the Wankhede Stadium. Unfortunately for him, he did not score any runs and was dismissed without opening his account. Mumbai won that match convincingly by an innings and 155 runs.
The squad for the match against Himachal Pradesh includes: Siddhesh Lad (captain), Angkrish Raghuwanshi, Suryaansh Shedge, Divyansh Saxena, Sarfaraz Khan, Mushir Khan, Suved Parkar, Akash Anand (wicketkeeper), Hardik Tamore (wicketkeeper), Shams Mulani, Tanush Kotiyan, Atharv Ankolekar, Tushar Deshpande, Mohit Awasthi, Silvester D’Souza, and Omkar Tarmale.
