Beijing, February 26: Xi Jinping has highlighted the importance of a strong start for China’s 15th Five-Year Plan. Members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, along with other key officials, recently submitted written reports on their 2025 work plans to the Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping.
In reviewing these reports, Xi made significant demands, stressing the need for a robust beginning to the 15th Five-Year Plan. He noted that this year marks the 105th anniversary of the CPC’s founding and is also the inaugural year of the new plan.
Xi emphasized the necessity of implementing the decisions of the CPC Central Committee with concrete actions guided by the ideology of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. He called for a strong focus on quality development, better coordination between development and security, continuous improvement of people’s lives, and the maintenance of social harmony and stability.
Furthermore, Xi urged stricter adherence to the CPC Central Committee’s eight-point regulations. He advocated for establishing a correct perspective on governance performance and striving to deliver tangible achievements for the public in accordance with actual conditions and laws.
