Ranchi, Mar 12 : Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister of Bihar and VIP supremo Mukesh Sahni on Saturday said the party will contest all the 14 Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand in 2024. Addressing a press conference here, Sahni said that on the likes of West Bengal and Delhi Nishad comm ty too should be included in SC list in Jharkhand, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. He said that on 134 Lok Sabha seats of these three states the party will strongly contest the polls for which it has already commenced preparations. He said that a proposal from these three states has been already sent to Centre to include Nishad comm ty in the SC list. Sahni said that the party will strengthen its organization in state and will make sure that Nishad comm ty get their political representation in state as in Jharkhand there is no MLA from the comm ty. To a query he said that if the BJP and their leaders have courage then they should ask for resignation of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as JD-U contested against the BJP in Uttar Pradesh and Manipur but the BJP thinks that he is weak therefore they are demanding his resignation. Mukesh Sahni said that his party has played an important role in making Nitish Kumar Chief Minister of Bihar and had in written given support of four MLAs to the Governor. He said that all the parties have right to contest elections and his party has made its base in Uttar Pradesh and on that ground it had contested polls in that state. He said that in Jharkhand he has come not for power but for the rights of the Nishads and EBCs. Sahni said that his party will organise meetings in every district and he himself will be coming to the state every month apart from participating in the functions of VIP. AK KK
