Vikas Lifecare touches roof on acquiring 75% stake in Genesis Gas Solutions

Vikas Lifecare is locked its upper circuit limit at Rs. 6.56, up by 0.31 points or 4.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 6.25 on the BSE.

The BSE group ‘T’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6.25 on 13-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.25 on 22-Apr-2021.

Vikas Lifecare has acquired 75% stake in Genesis Gas Solutions, a company engaged in the business developing ‘Smart Products’ including Smart Gas Meters & Power Distribution solutions for the ever-expanding infrastructure in India, in a cash deal amounting Rs 25 crore, payable in stages.

The company has acquired stake with the objective of broad-basing the product portfolio, and diversifying into futuristic and unique product lines, new edge businesses, complimenting and supplementing the existing business lines of the Company.

Vikas Lifecare is engaged in trading and manufacturing of polymer, rubber compounds and additives for plastics, synthetic & natural rubber.

The BSE group ‘B’ stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5.68 on 10-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.25 on 22-Apr-2021.

Vikas Lifecare has reported over 41-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 2.88 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 0.07 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by around 9-fold at Rs 114.11 crore for Q3FY22 as compared Rs 13.19 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
