Lucknow, August 31: The Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh has approved the names of 61 teachers for the State Teacher Awards 2025. These selections were made based on recommendations from the state-level selection committee. The chosen educators have significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of education, student learning, and school management across various districts in the state.
The names of these 61 teachers were approved after careful consideration of proposals received from different districts during the committee meetings. The official list released by the government includes each teacher’s name, designation, school, and development block. This initiative is a crucial step towards encouraging teachers who focus on improving teaching quality, innovation, and student learning outcomes in schools.
Among the selected teachers are individuals from various districts. Notable selections include Sangeeta Sharma from Agra, Amar Singh from Aligarh, Ram Milan Gupta from Ambedkar Nagar, Geeta Verma from Amroha, Pankaj Kumar Dwivedi from Ayodhya, Pradeep Kumar Singh from Azamgarh, Preeti Mishra from Bahraich, Ajit Kumar Srivastava from Ballia, Salma Khan from Balrampur, and Rahul Kumar Shukla from Barabanki.
Additionally, teachers such as Urmila Devi from Bhadohi, Rachna Kapoor from Bijnor, Kiran Devi from Badaun, Julie Malik from Bulandshahr, Usha Singh from Chandauli, Harishankar Tripathi from Chitrakoot, Omveer Singh from Etah, Virendra Singh from Etawah, Geeta Verma from Farrukhabad, and Anand Kumar Mishra from Fatehpur have also been recognized.
Further selections include Archana Pandey from Gautam Buddh Nagar, Jyotsna Goswami from Ghaziabad, Santosh Kushwaha from Ghazipur, Sunit Mitra Pandey from Gonda, Naveen Kumar Tripathi from Gorakhpur, Neetiraj Singh from Hamirpur, Shuchi Tyagi from Hapur, Vijaya Awasthi from Hardoi, Pallavi Chaturvedi from Hathras, and Sanjay Kumar Mishra from Jaunpur.
The list also features Preeti Srivastava from Jhansi, Suman Lata Yadav from Kannauj, Vineet Kumar Mishra from Kanpur Dehat, Dr. Kamayani Sharma from Kanpur Nagar, Dhananjay Pratap Singh from Kasganj, Suman Kushwaha from Kaushambi, Pramod Kumar from Lakhimpur Kheri, Preeti Gupta from Lalitpur, Vinita from Lucknow, and Rajesh Kumar Upadhyay from Maharajganj.
