
Lucknow, May 13: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed his sorrow over the sudden passing of Pratik Yadav, husband of Aparna Yadav, who is the Vice Chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission and daughter-in-law of former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. Adityanath extended his condolences to the grieving family.
On Wednesday, the Chief Minister took to social media platform ‘X’ to share his sentiments. He wrote, “The untimely demise of Pratik Yadav, son of the late Padma Vibhushan Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of Aparna Yadav, is extremely tragic. I offer my humble tribute. My heartfelt condolences are with the bereaved family. I pray to Lord Shri Ram to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the grieving family to endure this profound sorrow.”
Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also expressed his condolences. He posted, “The news of the sudden demise of Pratik Yadav, son of the late Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of Aparna Yadav, is very sad. My deepest sympathies are with the grieving family. May God grant the departed soul a place at His feet and provide solace to the family during this difficult time.”
The Samajwadi Party, through its official ‘X’ handle, expressed its grief over Pratik’s passing, stating, “The demise of Pratik Yadav is extremely sad. May God grant peace to the departed soul. Humble tribute.”
Earlier, Pankaj Singh, President of the Uttar Pradesh BJP, also conveyed his condolences. He posted on ‘X’, “The news of the demise of Pratik Yadav, son of Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of Aparna Yadav, is very sad. My sympathies are with the grieving family during this difficult time. May God grant the departed soul a place at His feet and provide strength to the family to bear this immense sorrow.”
Pratik Yadav passed away on Wednesday morning at the Civil Hospital in Lucknow. The 38-year-old was admitted there for treatment. His body has been sent for post-mortem, but the cause of death has not yet been confirmed, and the family has not provided any formal statement regarding the matter.
