Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Expansion: Six New Ministers Expected to Join

Lucknow, May 10: The much-anticipated cabinet expansion of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government in Uttar Pradesh is set to take place this Sunday. This could be the final expansion of CM Adityanath’s second term, as assembly elections are scheduled for early next year. Six new ministers may be inducted into the cabinet.

BJP MLA Kailash Singh Rajput is among those speculated to join the cabinet led by CM Yogi Adityanath in the upcoming expansion. Speaking to a news agency, Rajput stated, “Whatever responsibility I am given, I will work day and night to fulfill it and strive for the government. I plan to tour areas with a significant population of Lodhi Rajputs, meet people, listen to their issues, and seek solutions.”

Rajput further mentioned, “Yes, discussions about this name have been ongoing. I received a call from the Chief Minister’s office yesterday, and I met with the Chief Minister in the evening. During that meeting, I learned that my name is included in the proposed cabinet list. I would like to congratulate the state president and all organizational officials for this.”

He added, “Time is certainly limited, but those dedicated to work do not rely on more or less time. As for me, I start meeting people from my constituency around 6:30 AM, following my daily routine. After meeting until about 11-11:30 AM, I complete my daily tasks and then head out to my constituency.”

BJP MLA Hansraj Vishwakarma expressed, “First of all, congratulations to everyone. Everyone is working for the party and the country, and I am part of that. Whatever responsibility the party assigns me, whether as the district president of Varanasi, part of the cabinet, or any other opportunity to serve the state, I will continue my service.”

Vishwakarma noted that they simply keep working. Regarding expectations, he stated that whatever responsibility the party gives will be fulfilled. “This all happened suddenly. I was on my way to meet a relative in Ghazipur when I received a call asking me to come to the Chief Minister’s residence. I said, ‘Okay.’”
