UPL jumps on acquiring 100% holding of Nature Bliss Agro

UPL is currently trading at Rs. 638.95, up by 7.00 points or 1.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 631.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 629.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 640.55 and Rs. 622.45 respectively. So far 30932 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 852.50 on 16-Jul-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 607.80 on 23-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 666.50 and Rs. 622.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 47618.55 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 28.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 53.10% and 10.72% respectively.

UPL has acquired 100% holding of Nature Bliss Agro (NBAL) and accordingly NBAL becomes wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. NBAL proposes to carry out the business of manufacture and sale of crop protection and allied products. The same has synergy with the existing business activities of UPL.
