UP govt to crack whip on substandard nursing colleges

Lucknow, April 13 : The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to crack the whip against operators of the nursing colleges who are operating against the rules or are imparting substandard education, officials informed on Wednesday. During a meeting with the officials on Wednesday Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “Nursing homes operating against rules or are substandard should be identified, an FIR should be lodged against their operators and stern action should be taken.” He said that running a college without accreditation is playing with the future of the youths. “Each and every such information or complaint should be taken seriously and prompt action should be taken on it,” he said. Yogi directed the officials to take immediate cognizance of the public complaints and resolve them. “No file should remain pending in any office for more than three days. Accountability will be fixed in the case of delay,” he said. He said that timely attendance of every officer and employee should be ensured in the government offices. “Dilly dallying will not be tolerated at any cost. Senior officials should make surprise inspections on a regular basis. Stern action should be taken against officers and employees having a lax and dilly dallying attitude,” he directed. AB ACL1350
