Karnal, April 6: Union Minister Manohar Lal has praised Aam Aadmi Party leader Raghav Chadha while also targeting the party itself.
In a conversation with reporters, Manohar Lal emphasized that democracy within parties is essential, allowing everyone the right to express their views. He noted the trend of leaders joining and then leaving the Aam Aadmi Party. He stated, “Raghav Chadha is a good MP and articulates his points very well in Parliament.” He added that in the Aam Aadmi Party, only one person’s opinions are valued.
Regarding the recent explosion outside the BJP office in Chandigarh, he condemned the incident. He mentioned that both Chandigarh and Punjab police are collaborating on the investigation, with five individuals already apprehended and more arrests pending. He described the occurrence as highly condemnable, especially since Chandigarh serves as the capital for both Punjab and Haryana.
Manohar Lal expressed his longstanding relationship with Punjab and congratulated Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on his visit to the state. He noted that trust in the BJP among the people of Punjab is growing. Recently, farmers from Punjab approached him with various issues. He remarked that many parties have tried to engage with Punjab, but now there is a discussion among the people about potentially seeing a BJP government.
He added that the people of Punjab are considering a change. Furthermore, he extended his congratulations and best wishes to farmers for the new harvest, assuring them that all necessary arrangements have been made at the markets, and they will face no difficulties.
