Tragic Road Accident in Amethi Claims Lives of Three Young Men

New Delhi, May 15: A tragic road accident in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, resulted in the deaths of three young men on Friday. The incident occurred near Shivganj in the Munshiganj police station area on the Raebareli-Sultanpur road, where a speeding truck collided violently with a motorcycle carrying the victims.

According to reports, the three men on the motorcycle were coming from the opposite direction when the truck struck them. The impact was so severe that two of the motorcycle riders died on the spot, while the third was critically injured. He was rushed to the community health center (CHC) for initial treatment but was later referred to the district hospital in Sultanpur due to his serious condition. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Upon receiving information about the accident, police arrived at the scene, took possession of the bodies, and sent them for post-mortem examination. In a swift response, the police managed to track down the fleeing truck and apprehend the driver. Legal action is underway, and an investigation into the causes of the accident is ongoing.

Akhilesh Verma, the Gauriganj Circle Officer, confirmed that the three individuals on the motorcycle were hit by the truck while traveling in the opposite direction. He stated that two riders died at the scene, and the third was critically injured and later died in the hospital. Legal proceedings are being initiated at the Munshiganj police station regarding this incident.
