Tragic Road Accident Claims Lives of Two Youths in Jharkhand

Madhinipur, May 3: A tragic road accident occurred on the Redma Overbridge in the Palamu district of Jharkhand, resulting in the deaths of two young men. Reports indicate that a speeding motorcycle lost control and crashed into the bridge’s railing, leaving both riders severely injured.

They were rushed to the hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead. The deceased have been identified as Anand Kumar and Minshu Kumar, residents of the Chainpur police station area. The incident was confirmed by Jyotilal Rajwar, the officer in charge of the town police station.

According to available information, Anand and Minshu had attended a wedding ceremony in the Leslieganj area. After the event concluded, they were returning home late at night when their motorcycle suddenly became unbalanced and collided with the railing of the overbridge. The impact was so severe that both youths fell onto the road, sustaining critical injuries.

Local residents promptly alerted the town police, and a patrol team arrived at the scene. Both injured individuals were transported to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, upon arrival, doctors declared them dead after examination.

The police have taken possession of the bodies for post-mortem examinations, which have already commenced at Medinirai Medical College and Hospital. Following the incident, a large number of relatives and friends of the deceased gathered at the hospital, visibly distraught. The entire area is engulfed in grief. The police have initiated further investigations into the case, examining every aspect of the accident.
