Noida, February 26: A tragic event unfolded in Noida’s Sector 143 on Thursday, where a young man took his own life by jumping from the 12th floor of a residential society.
The incident caused chaos in the community, drawing a crowd of onlookers. Upon receiving the news, the police from Sector 142 promptly arrived at the scene and rushed the injured individual to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead by doctors.
The deceased has been identified as Narendra Sharma, son of Devdutt Sharma, and is reported to be a resident of the Sector 143 society in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
According to the police, they received information on Thursday about a person who had jumped from the 12th floor. The police team quickly arrived and took necessary actions. Initial investigations revealed that Narendra Sharma had returned to his Noida home about 24 hours prior to the incident, having visited his brother. Currently, the reasons behind the suicide remain unclear, as no suicide note was found at the scene, complicating the investigation.
Authorities are questioning family members and nearby residents to uncover the motives behind this tragic event. The victim’s family arrived at the scene shortly after the incident.
