Patna, May 1: Praveen Singh Kushwaha, a senior Congress leader and the president of the Bhagalpur district Congress, tragically passed away in a road accident. He was returning to Patna from New Delhi when the incident occurred. His untimely death has sent shockwaves through the Congress party and its supporters.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and several senior leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, expressed their profound sorrow over his passing.
Kharge took to social media platform X, stating, “The news of the untimely demise of Praveen Singh Kushwaha, the president of the Bhagalpur district Congress, in a road accident is extremely painful. He was a committed, dedicated, and true Congress member who devoted his life to the organization and public service. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and supporters. May God grant them the strength to bear this loss.”
Rahul Gandhi also expressed his grief, saying, “The news of the untimely death of Praveen Singh Kushwaha, president of the Bhagalpur district Congress and a senior leader, in a road accident is very sad. Meanwhile, MP Upendra Kushwaha shared his condolences on social media, stating, “The news of the death of Praveen Kushwaha, General Secretary of the All India Kushwaha Mahasabha and president of the Bhagalpur district Congress, in a road accident on the Purvanchal Expressway while returning to Bihar from New Delhi is very sad. May God grant peace to the departed soul and provide strength to the grieving family.”
