Panipat, April 15 : Three people charred to death when their car caught fire after ramming into a truck in Haryana’s Panipat district on Friday, police said. According to the police, the incident happened near Anaj Mandi on Panipat-Rohtak Highway in Israna area. The ill-fated car hit the truck’s rear part. Locals tried to put out the fire but could not do it. The vehicle was almost reduced to ashes by the time the fire department reached the spot. The victims could not get out of the car due to the central locking system. Police broke the door and retrieved the bodies from the car. They were so badly burnt that their identity could not be ascertained. XC GK SY 1746
