Ayodhya, April 17: Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya has received a death threat from the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. A complaint has been filed at the Ayodhya police station regarding this incident. Recently, Acharya shared details of the threat during a conversation.
He revealed that he has a recording of the threatening call on his mobile phone. “I received a threatening call from Lashkar-e-Taiba. As soon as the caller began speaking, I started recording. I have submitted this recording to the Ayodhya police station. In the recording, the caller threatens me, saying that my head will be severed, regardless of how tight my security is, and that I will be blown up,” he stated.
Acharya also inquired why the terrorists wanted to harm him. They responded, “Why do you talk about a Hindu nation? You started the Hindu nation movement and are now spreading it across the country.”
He noted that since the initiation of the Ram Temple movement, he has been targeted by terrorists. Following this, he began advocating for a Hindu nation. “Although later Baba Bageshwar took the movement under his name, I remain a target for terrorists. I receive threats from domestic jihadists as well as foreign Muslim terrorists,” he added.
Acharya emphasized that he has provided all details to the police and administration, urging them to conduct an investigation and take necessary actions.
When asked how he identified the caller as a terrorist, he replied, “Because it was an international number, I kept the recording for evidence.”
Regarding the administration’s response, he mentioned, “The police have taken the recording and other evidence, but no concrete action has been taken. I was assigned two security personnel, but now only one remains during my travels. If he leaves for any reason, I fear a terrorist attack. The threat level is high, and terrorists remain active. Therefore, the administration and central government must take this matter seriously.”
He concluded by stating, “The Home Minister should focus on this issue and ensure my safety. We work to protect Indian culture and raise awareness to save the country’s women from love jihad. This is what terrorists dislike, which is why they want to kill us.”
