Telanganas Deputy CM Encourages Online Census Participation

Khammam, April 27: Telangana’s Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka participated in the ‘Self-Enumeration’ program for the 2027 census on Monday, urging citizens to engage in this initiative.

During the event, the Deputy Chief Minister registered his details online at the Praja Bhavan camp office in Khammam, signaling the start of this important process.

He emphasized that the census is a crucial foundation for planning at both state and national levels. Vikramarka noted that collecting data through digital means like ‘Self-Enumeration’ will not only simplify the process but also enhance transparency and accuracy. He appealed to all citizens to voluntarily provide accurate information about themselves and their families online.

Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka stated that accurate and updated data will assist the government in implementing effective programs. He expressed hope that the data collected from the 2027 census would enable more precise delivery of government benefits to those in need. According to him, accurate information will also facilitate better planning for development projects.

He mentioned that efforts are being made to simplify the census process through digital platforms to encourage broader participation. The government’s intention is to increase public involvement and improve the quality of the data collected.

During the event, Khammam District Collector T.S. Diwakar, Chief Planning Officer Srinivas, and Technical Assistant Himvarsha, among others, were present. They all stressed the need for collective efforts to ensure the success of this initiative.

This program clearly indicates that the state government is working towards making administrative processes more effective and citizen-friendly by leveraging modern technology.
