Hyderabad, March 15 : Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan paid homage and offered floral tributes to the portrait of former Andhra Pradesh Governor Kumudben Joshi, who passed away in Gujarat on Monday. Soundararajan also observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul at Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday, a comm qué said. She was the Governor of Andhra Pradesh from November 26 1985 to February 7 1990. Kumudben Joshi was the second female Governor of the state after Sharda Mukherjee. The former AP governor died after a long illness at her Changa Dhanori village in Navsari district of Gujarat at the age of 88. VV CS1448
