Hyderabad, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy extended his congratulations to Madhu Goud Yaskhi on his recent appointment as the president of the All India Professionals Congress. The announcement was made on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
In a post on the social media platform X, Reddy acknowledged Yaskhi’s long-standing service to the party and his ability to connect with various segments of society. He expressed confidence that Yaskhi’s experience would strengthen Congress’s ties with the professional community and link their expertise to national development. B. Mahesh Kumar Goud, the president of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), also congratulated Yaskhi, wishing him continued success and greater responsibilities ahead. He shared his well-wishes on X, emphasizing the significance of Yaskhi’s achievement.
The Telangana Congress celebrated this milestone on their official X handle, describing it as a proud moment for the state Congress family. Yaskhi was appointed as president of the All India Professionals Congress by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday. The announcement was made late Wednesday night by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, who also acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing president, Praveen Chakravarthy.
Madhu Goud Yaskhi is regarded as a close associate of the party high command and has been a strong advocate for the separate Telangana state movement. He has served as a Member of Parliament for the Nizamabad constituency twice. In 2023, he was appointed as the head of the TPCC’s election campaign committee, although he faced defeat in the assembly elections that year. Following Revanth Reddy’s ascension to the chief ministership in 2024, Yaskhi was considered a leading candidate for the TPCC president role, but the party ultimately appointed Mahesh Kumar Goud.
