Chennai, May 9: Renowned Malayalam film director Tarun Moorthy is currently in the spotlight. His film “Thudaram” has received widespread acclaim and proven to be a significant success, featuring superstar Mohanlal in the lead role. Following this success, rumors began circulating about a potential Telugu remake of the film.
Recently, Tarun Moorthy’s meeting with Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi intensified these discussions. Many speculated that the two were possibly discussing a new film or the Telugu adaptation of “Thudaram.” However, the director has now addressed these rumors directly.
Tarun Moorthy shared a photo with Chiranjeevi on Instagram, clarifying that their meeting was not related to the Telugu remake of “Thudaram.” He stated, “I received a call from Chiranjeevi’s team, informing me that the actor wanted to meet me in person. Hearing this, I immediately set out to meet him. It was a significant moment for me to receive an invitation from such a prominent artist.”
He also shared his experience from the meeting, saying, “At his home, we discussed films and personal life. Chiranjeevi elaborated on several scenes and stories from my films. I was both surprised and delighted that such a major superstar paid such close attention to my work.”
Tarun Moorthy remarked, “Chiranjeevi still watches films with the same enthusiasm and curiosity as a child discovering something new. This quality sets him apart from other artists.”
