
Surat, June 5: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for various development projects worth over ₹18,000 crores in Gujarat on Friday. These initiatives aim to strengthen infrastructure, promote industries, and enhance the quality of life for the residents. The launch occurred during a government event.
Addressing a public gathering, Prime Minister Modi stated, “For the past 12 years, Congress has attempted to create chaos and uncertainty to find political opportunities, but the people of the country have consistently responded firmly. Particularly, the people of Gujarat have sidelined Congress.”
He further emphasized, “Projects like the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway, Dedicated Freight Corridor, and Bullet Train showcase India’s priorities. Today, a significant portion of the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway was inaugurated, improving connectivity between two major industrial and commercial hubs.”
During the Prime Minister’s visit, a local resident shared with a news agency, “PM Modi’s speech inspires us to do something new. If we closely observe his work, we can learn a lot. Even small things, often overlooked, can bring positive changes to our people, families, and country, leading us toward development and transformation.”
Another local remarked, “The impact of PM Modi’s message on the public has been profound. He spoke highly of the environment and praised Surat. We are very grateful to PM Modi.”
Additionally, another resident noted, “The Prime Minister elaborated on this during his visit and shared several important messages on World Environment Day. He discussed efforts to save petrol through reduced vehicle usage and appreciated the ongoing work in this direction. I want to sincerely thank the Prime Minister.”
