Sameera posted a video on her Instagram, showcasing a tasty and healthy wrap made from oats and chia seeds. In the video, she explains that this wrap is not only nutritious but also simple to prepare.
Packed with fiber, protein, and healthy fats, this wrap keeps you full for longer and aids in weight management. While detailing the recipe, the actress says, “Mix 70 grams of oats and 10 grams of chia seeds with salt and red chili powder to taste. Blend everything well in a blender until you achieve a smooth batter. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes so that the chia seeds swell and the batter thickens. Heat a pan over medium heat, spread the batter thinly on the pan, and cook on low heat. Once one side is cooked, flip it and cook until both sides are golden brown. Your wrap is now ready.”
The actress further adds, “For a crunchy topping, you can add peanut butter or mashed avocado (add chili flakes if you like it spicy), along with grilled paneer or regular grilled cheese.”
According to Ayurveda, oats are a nutritious, light, and soothing food that enhances digestive fire and reduces toxins in the body. Chia seeds, known for their cooling and nourishing properties, primarily balance the Vata and Pitta doshas. They are beneficial for improving digestion, hydrating the body, boosting energy, and aiding in weight loss.
